Today was the day of the shoot for my A/W 2011 collection ‘A Beautiful Sacrifice’. We decided to return to the gardens we used for the location photos for the ‘Welcome to the Tea Party’ collection at Castle Bromwich as we thought that the garden location would also suit this collection perfectly.
We woke up very early in order to prepare for the shoot to begin at 9:00. It was quite a windy and cool morning which made the shoot a little difficult. The equipment kept blowing over so we had to be careful whilst shooting. The shoot was also made a little more stressful by the fact that we also had limited time to shoot at the gardens. We did however manage to get all of the photographs that we needed, so all of our effort was really worth it in the end.
I am so happy with the images that we took, they are exactly what I was hoping for. I’m also so glad that we decided to shoot at the gardens again as they really are so beautiful.
